Precision diagnostics, technology, and media for the automotive industry.

About Akribos
Akribos is the practice of Noah Nelson — physics-based diagnostics, disciplined root-cause analysis, modern technology, and clear technical media, applied at every level of the automotive world.
The name is Greek: akribḗs, precise and exact. That standard runs through all of it — tracing an intermittent network fault on a vehicle, building a diagnostic procedure the whole industry can use, or producing the article or video that finally makes a hard concept click. The work spans the single shop and the industry that serves it: repair shops and technicians alongside manufacturers, tooling companies, trade publications, and training organizations. The goal is always the same — find the real cause, prove it, and communicate it clearly.
Services
Deep technical work and clear technical media for the whole automotive industry — individual shops and technicians, and the manufacturers, tooling companies, publications, and trainers that serve them.
About Me
Technical Editor at Motor Age Magazine and an ASE Master Certified technician with 25 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
My work centers on the hard end of the trade — advanced electrical systems, vehicle communication networks, and physics-based diagnostic workflows — and on making that work understandable. Through Motor Age, the Vehicle Service & Repair channel, and my own writing and video, I turn hard technical material into content the industry can actually use. I write, teach, produce, and build tools to move the whole industry's diagnostic ability forward, and I'm currently working toward the ASE / AutoCare Association World Class Technician registry.
